Founded in 1986, Damro is one of the world's largest furniture manufacturers and South Asia's most prominent furniture brand. Originally a Sri Lankan company, Damro entered India and has grown to 100+ showrooms across 10 states including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and more. The India operations are headquartered in Bengaluru (JP Nagar) with a registered address in Chennai (Pallavaram). Co-founded by Tyron Venisious and Amit Kumar for the India operations, Damro India employs 835+ people with an annual revenue of ₹375 crore (FY2024). The brand offers furniture across living room (sofas, recliners, coffee tables), dining room (dining sets, crockery cabinets), bedroom (beds, wardrobes, dressing tables), kids furniture, study and office furniture, outdoor furniture and home appliances (refrigerators, air conditioners, TVs, washing machines). Damro opened its 100th Indian showroom in Kolkata in 2021. The brand is primarily an offline retail brand — its India website is a catalogue site, not an e-commerce platform.
